Our family doctors specialize in providing patients with comprehensive health care for people of all ages. As primary care providers, our doctors focus on preventative care medicine and health promotion, along with additional services to patients within our practice.
Dr. Oded Samuel
Dr. Oded Samuel is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Medicine, 1978. He has his certification in family medicine and has a full spectrum family practice. He has had extensive emergency department experience and has a special interest in addiction medicine. Dr. Samuel is on staff at the Humber River Regional Hospital.
Dr. Jessica Strasberg
Dr. Jessica Strasberg completed her Masters in Education at University of Toronto in Counselling Psychology. She studied Medicine at McMaster University and then competed her residency in Family Medicine through the University of Toronto at Scarborough General Hospital. She was part of the Jane Finch Family Health team from 2008-2014. In August 2014 she moved to Kelowna, BC where she practice family medicine for 8 years. She moved back to Toronto with her family in the summer of 2022 and feels privileged to again be providing comprehensive primary care to the patients that are part of the Jane Finch Family Health team.
Dr. Jordan Solmon
Dr. Jordan Solmon received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. Post-doctoral training at the University of Toronto includes General Surgery, completion of the Family Medicine residency program, and a Fellowship in Obstetrics. He is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and the Division Head of Women’s and Children’s Health, Department of Family and Community Medicine, Humber River Hospital. He is active as an Examiner for the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and as a clinical teacher, with the rank of Lecturer in the DFCM, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Dr. Solmon has a comprehensive Family Practice, and a special interest in child and adolescent health and peri-natal care.
Dr. Vered Kakzanov
Dr. Vered Kakzanov has studied medicine at McMaster University and has completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto. Following the completion of a low risk Obstetrics fellowship, Dr. Kakzanov joined the Jane and Finch Family Health Team. She has a special interest in obstetrics, care of the elderly and palliative care.
Dr. Neil Ingber
Dr. Ingber graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and went on to complete a 2 year residency in Family Medicine at North York General Hospital ending in 2012. He then completed a Low-Risk Obstetrics Fellowship at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. He has a full scope family practice with a focus on: mother and baby care, obstetrical care, and chronic disease management. He also has extra training in joint injections for a variety of sport and non-sport joint problems.
Dr. Sarah Ramzan
Dr. Sarah Ramzan received her medical degree from the University of Ottawa. She completed her residency from the University of Toronto. Dr. Ramzan has a full service family practice and enjoys helping patients from all walks of life, from the young to the elderly.
Dr. Husna Husainy
Dr. Husna Husainy studied medicine at the University of Ottawa and graduated in 2011. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto through North York General Hospital in 2013 and later completed a 3 month fellowship in Emergency Medicine. She joined the Jane Finch Family Health Team in 2015 and has a full scope family practice and provides comprehensive care to her patients. She is on staff at North York General Hospital and teaches medical students at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Reena Ghodasara
Dr. Reena Ghodasara studied medicine at the American University of Integrated Sciences, and completed a 3 year residency in Family Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Charleston, West Virginia in 2019. She moved back home to Toronto and has been with the Jane Finch Family Health Team since 2021. She enjoys providing comprehensive primary care to families and patients of all ages.
